Mortise and Tenon Joinery:
At BenchSmith, we use only true cross-plugged mortise and tenon joinery - no nuts and bolts - on every major structural joint. There is simply no better way to build stronger, more stable furniture. Fiber-reinforced, 5-part marine epoxy and outdoor glue are used on the joints to ensure the furniture's arms, legs and supports fit securely and snugly - and stay that way.
